MY SAFARI VIDEO IN THE SERENGETI [VIDEO]

Visiting Africa was an adventure I always thought would happen when I was retired. Save it for when i’m old and rich, and have all the time in the world to explore. Then Brooke Saward from World of Wanderlust posted a video when she went to Tanzania earlier this year. It sounded just like any other trip. Except, it just wasn’t. I was absolutely captivated. Tanzania was no longer a destination that could wait a lifetime. It had to happen, and it had to happen now.

Sure enough when I got leave approved from work later in the year, Kenya and Tanzania were entered into the google search faster than you could say ‘let’s go on safari’. The result? A trip of a lifetime.

So what’s so special? Well for starters, the Serengeti is the King of game parks. Why? It has an absolutely enormous abundance of wild animals that call it home. You can see all the big cats like lions, cheetahs, leopards, hundreds of elephants, more giraffes than you can count, zebras as if they were flies, and more buffalo than you could ever sneeze.

This is an experience of a lifetime. Sharing this safari video with you will hopefully inspire an incredible adventure for yourself. Careful, Africa is addictive.

I toured on G Adventures on their Serengeti to Zanzibar tour.

I would like to thank all the wonderful people on my tour who allowed me to show the world how incredible Kenya and Tanzania are. In particular, my G Adventures 5 Litres 😉 crew for being so awesome on the video. The Dubai portion of my trip was an extra, and was not part of the G Adventures tour.

I did a little added research and then decided to go for it. Initially I was torn should I try and use one of the local budget airlines to jump down to South Africa or up to Kenya?
